Well here goes....

Well, I was on www.b3ta.com today and one of the users, by the name of Dimrill brought a worrying event to my attention.

It seems that Gamestation, the High Street retailer that trades in Computer games and related paraphernalia, have taken to destroying Retro Gaming equipment. Now this rather worries me. I am a big fan of old consoles and old gaming, and I believe that there is very much a market for these. So I thought that I would follow this up.

Today, 24th March 2008, I sent them an e-mail asking about the veracity of these claims via their web enquiry page.

"Dear Sirs,

It has come to my attention that there is now a policy within your organisation by which you are now destroying retro gaming consoles and related paraphernalia. (Please see attached link: www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?showtopic=180208)

Personally, I can not understand how this can be considered good policy. I appreciate that overheads are high, particularly for your stores in high profile, metropolitan areas but I do find this very distressing.

I must admit, I am not awate of the veracity of these claims, but I would like to be made aware if this is the case. If it is so, I would be willing to purchase some of these old consoles and also games.

I Look forward to hearing from you soon, and if you are unable to help me on this enquiry, I would greatly appreciate if you could put me in touch with the relevant department.

Kind Regards,"

Thanks for visiting, and please pass this onto your friends who would be as upset as me that Gamestation are doing this.

Hopefully I'll have an update for you soon.

Hey hey hey!

Today has been a great day.

I went to see my friend Johnny :D We had a couple of cups of coffee and such.

Then tonight, I was on the radio and stuff! I spoke to a man called Ia(i)n Collins who said I sounded like David Beckham! Yays! Awesomenesses! I talked to him about my friend Gertrude! She's a lovely Syrian Hamster and stuff!

I think that is all,

Good Night,

Happy Micky!
